Review by hotel critic
During my recent stay at the Sarmata, I found it a well-placed haven to explore the historical gems of Sandomierz. The hotel's location is a definite advantage-just a five-minute walk from the old square, making it easy to dive into the local culture. The accommodations were spacious, with comfortable beds that promised a good night's sleep after long days of sightseeing. The rustic decor added a charming touch, as did the lovely sun terrace-ideal for relaxing with family. the sauna room in the spa was a clean and inviting retreat. What stood out for me, as a history teacher captivated by cultural stories, was the dining experience. The restaurant serves delightful Polish wines, something I believe many overlook, and breakfast options were ample and satisfying. While the hotel boasts luxury amenities, the balance of value is clear in its offerings: attentive staff, free parking, and convenient tours/ticket assistance make for a thoughtful stay. If you're looking to blend comfort with a genuine feel for the town, Sarmata offers a practical choice that doesn't compromise on experience.
